God will punish the person who is guilty of taking another person’s life.
11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;
12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? Proverbs 24:11-12
Since a baby in the womb is alive (or there wouldn’t be a need for an abortion), it has an eternal soul and spirit as well. When a baby is aborted, its soul and spirit go to be with God.
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26
Pregnant mother: If a doctor, pastor, or any other person advises you to have an abortion, don’t listen. Trust in Jesus. Pray. Read the Bible. God will see you and your little baby through your circumstances, no matter how difficult they seem to you now.
Jesus said,
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Luke 17:2
Poor little babies… they were put to death without benefit of a trial or defense.
Millions of abortions will be performed this year worldwide. What a terrible thing to die without being given a chance to live.
Thank God, aborted babies go to heaven.
Parents: If you have already had an abortion or you’re thinking about having one, pray, pray, pray, repent, repent, repent. Ask God to forgive you. If you read your Bible, you will decide to keep your baby. You will end up loving and caring for your baby.
Psalm 8:2 says,
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Also read 2 Samuel 12.
God knew Samson and John the Baptist in their mothers’ wombs, and He knows your unborn baby, too. To abort a baby ois to regret it the rest of your life.
You baby belongs to God, even though you carry it in your womb. Give life. Never destroy it.
Pregnant mother (wed or unwed): You have alternatives. Consider adoption through a legal Christian agency.
There are thousands of Christian families just praying and waiting to adopt a precious little boy or girl. You could give the most precious gift to them, the gift of life. Or you could choose to pray and let the Lord direct you and your unborn baby into a beneficial surrounding where you could keep your baby. Please don’t commit the crime of murder.
Abortion is murder.
God will help you choose life for your unborn infant, if you will call upon Him and believe in Him. God really loves you. God certainly loves your baby, too.
Jesus said,
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
Do you know that doctors perform millions of abortions each year? That means thousands of babies are killed daily through abortions. Why? Usually it is because the mother doesn’t want the extra burden and inconvenience of a baby. She feels her freedom and happiness will be destroyed if the baby is born. Another reason is the girl may not be married and have the support of a husband.
Abortion has become a popular new form of birth control.
Statistics prove that 75 percent of the women are unmarried, 32 percent are teenagers, and 20 percent are repeat customers.
To perform an abortion is to commit murder. God said, “Thou shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13 and Deuteronomy 5:17, for example). This is one of the Ten Commandments God gave us to obey.
Idols are created by the work of men’s hands, but only God can create a precious baby.
Did you know that after an abortion a woman faces an increased possibility of future miscarriages, tubular pregnancies, premature babies, sterility, and psychiatric difficulties?
A fetus’ heart starts beating on the 28th day after conception. On the 30th day almost every organ has began to form.
Each stage of development requires only time and nutrition to mature to adulthood. Everything was there in the beginning to bring this about.
Innocent, unborn babes aren’t something you kill and throw away to cover up your sin.
7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? Micah 6:7
Here is proof that life begins in the womb.
4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5
In Luke 1:11-17, God sent His angel to Zacharias to tell him that his wife would give birth to a son. God even told him what his son’s name would be. The Bible also tells us that John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit in his mother’s womb.
The angel Gabriel announced to Mary:
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: Luke 1:31-32
Children are a gift from God. The fact that a woman can even get pregnant is a blessing, not a curse.
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3
God rescues the unborn, the innocent, the helpless.
7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked. Exodus 23:7
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Psalm 27:10
Dear God, I repent that I have aborted my baby. I never quite realized that the fetus inside me was a real, living human being. I ask You from the bottom of my heart to forgive me.. Help me also to forgive myself. With your help, I will keep my body pure from this moment forward. I will pray for guidance along this line. I will pray and read my Bible daily. With Your help I will not let this terrible thing I’ve done keep me from going to church and from witnessing to others about becoming a born-again Christian. Lead me to some other woman who is thinking about getting an abortion. Help me to witness to her that abortion is a sin, and that we must answer to God for the things we do to our bodies. Again, I thank You, God for forgiving me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
